A cake mold is a tool used for baking cakes, and its size, shape, and material can all affect the shape and texture of the cake. Cake molds are usually divided into two categories: circular molds and square molds, as well as molds with special shapes such as hearts and animal shapes, which can be selected according to personal preferences and needs.

Before using the cake mold, preparation work needs to be done, such as cleaning the mold and applying a thin layer of grease to prevent the cake from sticking. In addition, to make the cake softer, a piece of oil paper or aluminum foil can be placed at the bottom of the mold to facilitate cake demolding.

There are also many types of materials for cake molds, such as non stick pots, aluminum alloys, silicone, etc. Non stick pot molds are easier to clean, aluminum alloy molds have uniform heat transfer, while silicone molds have good elasticity and anti stickiness.

During the baking process, the cake mold should be placed in the middle and lower layers of the oven to ensure even heating of the cake. The baking time depends on the size and thickness of the cake, usually around 30 minutes to 1 hour. During the baking process, pay attention to the color and fluffiness of the cake to avoid excessive baking causing it to harden.

After baking, take the cake out of the oven and gently tap the cake mold to separate it from the mold. After the cake has cooled slightly, it can be demolded and decorated.

In short, selecting the appropriate cake mold and using it correctly is the key to making delicious cakes. At the same time, cleaning and maintenance of cake molds are also important to ensure baking effectiveness and extend the lifespan of the molds.
